Hello, Huskies fans. The Huskies received a verbal commitment from four-star linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale of Bethel High School in Washington. Rainey-Sale, Washington’s top prospect, is listed as the country’s 14th best linebacker. The Huskies faced competition from Florida State and UCLA in their pursuit of Rainey-Sale, but were eventually successful. Rainey-Sale is listed as 6’2″ and weighs roughly 220 pounds, which is adequate size for the linebacker position. Last year, he recorded 65 total tackles, including 6 TFLs and 4 sacks.
The Huskies currently have one linebacker in the class (excluding Donovan Robinson, who could develop into a linebacker), 4 star linebacker Jonathan Epperson, and they would love to have Rainey-Sale join him in patrolling the middle of the field. Rainey-Saley is the class’s 18th commit, and the fourth from Washington. Rainey-Sale is warmly welcomed into Husky Nation.
