Breaking News: 4-Star Athlete commits To Florida Gators

Florida State has been dominating on the football field against their arch-rivals, the Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Gators, winning the state championship for the past two years.

Although the Seminoles haven’t outperformed both rivals in recruiting rankings, their on-field performance speaks volumes. Florida State boasts a 23-4 record over the past two seasons. Despite this success, Miami and Florida fans continue to talk trash, even though the Hurricanes ended their season 7-6 and the Gators 5-7.

These programs aren’t worth discussing compared to the state champions. The Gators face a tough 2024 season, particularly in November. Head coach Billy Napier might be on the hot seat by late October.

On July 4th, the Gators failed to secure any commitments, while the Seminoles and Hurricanes succeeded. To add insult to injury, four-star offensive lineman Peyton Joseph from Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, mocked Florida with a “5-7” record joke.

Joseph decommitted from the Florida Gators in April and immediately received crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State. It helped because he had a familial connection to current offensive lineman TJ Ferguson, as well as a friendship with offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins.

Furthermore, it is not guaranteed that Florida’s coaching staff will be intact at the end of the 2024 season. The Gators’ fandom is getting a little angry with the fact that Joseph mentioned the 5-7 record from a year ago, when some individuals were stating that the excellent offensive lineman was dismissed from the Gators’ recruiting class.

Joseph disregarded the troll attempts by claiming that Florida State was now his home. I’m thrilled to have him and five-star inside offensive tackle Solomon Thomas in the mix. On August 12th, the Seminoles hope to secure the commitment of five-star offensive tackle Josh Petty.
