Breaking: Washington Adds Commitment From Top Experienced Offensive Lineman

On July 4, Washington received its 20th commitment for the 2025 recruiting cycle. Local three-star offensive lineman Lowen Colman-Brusa from Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien announced his decision to join the Huskies. Colman-Brusa, standing at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, is ranked as the No. 7 player in Washington and the No. 80 offensive tackle nationally according to 247Sports composite rankings. He chose Washington over offers from Duke, Montana, and Portland State.

His brother, Derek Colman-Brusa, a four-star edge rusher at Kennedy Catholic and the top player in the state for the 2026 recruiting cycle, is predicted to commit to Washington as well. Derek has offers from several prominent programs including BYU, California, Duke, Ohio State, Oregon, Oregon State, Tennessee, USC, and Washington State.

Lowen Colman-Brusa is the fifth player from Washington to commit to the Huskies, joining four-star linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale from Bethel High School, four-star athlete Jonathan Epperson Jr. from Auburn Riverside High School, three-star athlete D’Aryhian Clemons from Spanaway Lake High School, and three-star edge rusher Victor Sanchez Hernandez Jr. from Kamiak High School. If all five players sign, it will be the most local commitments in one cycle since Jimmy Lake’s 2021 recruiting class.
