Breaking: Miami Breaks Another Record Of Signing Top Talented Player

Coral Springs, Florida — Maximo Oberto has joined the University of Miami men’s tennis team, as revealed by head coach Alex Santos on Thursday.

Oberto, who is traveling to Miami from Aventura, Florida, has a career-high ITF junior ranking of 786.

Oberto declared, “Miami is my home, and I am thrilled to represent the city that I love so much.”

After winning the J5 Tacarigua singles championship, winning 19 singles matches, and qualifying for the quarterfinals in three competitions, he will join the squad.

“Maximo’s love for Miami and the University of Miami, along with his passion for tennis, are very inspirational,” Santos remarked. “His physicality, talent, and high level of sports understanding will be tremendous assets for our program.”

Oberto will play alongside returning players Martin Katz, Antonio Prat, and Nacho Serra Sanchez in addition to Leonardo Dal Boni and Mehdi Sadaoui.
