Four-star defensive lineman Jeramiah McCloud was among 26 recruits who attended Florida’s Grill in the Ville cookout last Saturday. The 6’3″, 280-pound prospect from Leesburg, Georgia, enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the event, which allowed him to interact with coaches and current commits.
McCloud appreciated the chance to build relationships with the coaching staff, including spending time with Coach Chatman and Coach Napier. He also took the opportunity to engage with other recruits, including recently committed Ohio State prospect Jarquez Carter. McCloud encouraged Carter to consider Florida, emphasizing the strong relationships and positive environment at the university.
Despite Florida’s 2025 recruiting class starting slowly, McCloud is optimistic, noting that a recent silent commit might spark further momentum. He believes that Florida is on the rise and anticipates an uptick in recruiting success.
McCloud remains committed to Florida but plans to keep his recruitment open and visit other schools this fall. He intends to take official visits to Georgia, LSU, Florida State, and Auburn, ensuring he makes an informed decision about his future.
