Breaking: Alabama Receives Groundbreaking News Involving Star

In his third season as a redshirt sophomore for the Alabama Crimson Tide, Jeremiah Alexander is beginning to show improvement for the team.

Alexander, a former five-star recruit from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, began his career as an outside linebacker. Throughout his high school years, he alternated between rushing as an off-the-ball linebacker and playing inside linebacker. Now, Alexander has officially transitioned to inside linebacker for Alabama. Defensive coordinator Kane Wommack believes he is making significant progress in his new role.

“I think Jeremiah Alexander is starting to take steps forward in the right direction,” Wommack stated. “He has played the Jack position for the last couple of years, and transitioning to inside linebacker is a completely different challenge. It’s not as simple as moving a player from one spot to another; it requires extensive practice.”

Alexander saw relatively little action as a linebacker and largely contributed on special teams during his 14 games played in the previous season, where he finished with three tackles.

As the two expected starters, Deontae Lawson and Jihaad Campbell lead Alabama’s inside linebacker room. Alexander will get the chance to give Alabama depth at linebacker.
