Major Breaking: Significant Boost For The Buffalo Bills For The Signing Of Another Top Experienced Player

The Buffalo Bills are confident in their elite quarterback, Josh Allen, but there’s uncertainty about who will back him up immediately. The team signed Mitchell Trubisky as a potential backup, but a knee injury might prevent him from stepping in right away. To address this, the Bills have signed former New York Jets and Miami Dolphins backup quarterback Mike White.

White, who was released by the Dolphins on cutdown day, quickly joined the Bills, making it the third AFC East team he has played for. Reflecting on the rapid turn of events, White shared, “I got released in Miami and drove up to Tampa where I lived. (Brandon) Beane called my agent, and the next thing I know, I get a text from Josh with two eye emojis. It happened really quick.”

In his career, White is 2-5 as a starting quarterback and has recorded nine touchdowns against 13 interceptions over his first three seasons. As a third-string quarterback, he provides valuable depth and could be called upon if Trubisky isn’t ready for the start of the season.
