When the Buffalo Bills face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night to wrap up Week 3 of the NFL season, they’ll be welcoming back two veteran players.
Gabe Davis, though only with the Bills for four seasons, played a significant role in their consecutive AFC East titles. After joining the Jaguars as a free agent in the offseason, Davis will return to compete against the quarterback who helped launch his NFL career.
Additionally, former center Mitch Morse is also coming back to the organization that helped him achieve Pro Bowl status in 2022 after signing a two-year deal with Jacksonville.
For Josh Allen and the Bills, the return of these players is meaningful. “They’re two guys I’ve spent a lot of time with,” Allen noted. “They’re not just important to me on the field; I consider them close friends off the field. The conversations we’ve had are irreplaceable.”
This game will be a homecoming for the two Jaguars players, who are currently 0-2, but the Bills are focused on proving themselves as the season progresses.
