Breaking: Major Set-Back As Pittsburgh Steelers Key Player suffers From Devastating Injury

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Donte Jackson is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder but plans to play through the injury, similar to how he performed against the Los Angeles Chargers after sustaining it on Sunday. The injury is believed to be major.

Jackson’s injury occurred when he fell over Minkah Fitzpatrick and the Chargers receiver, landing hard on his right shoulder.

Steelers cornerback Cory Trice Jr. is currently on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and will be out for the next four games.

While Donte Jackson plans to play through his shoulder injury, if he suffers any further setbacks, the Steelers may turn to James Pierre or Darius Rush to step in. Both have previous experience in the system, making it easier for them to adjust.

Despite his pain, Jackson is expected to start alongside Joey Porter Jr. against a formidable Colts wide receiver corps that will pose a significant challenge for the Steelers.
