LSU has added another rising star to their 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of Audree Valdenarro, the fourth member of the class announced on Monday. Valdenarro is a three-star recruit in College Gym News’ 2026 rankings, just one point below fellow LSU commit Malea Milton.
Valdenarro began her Level 10 journey in 2021 at Gymnastics Olympica USA in Santa Clarita, California. Her sole competition that season was the SoCal State meet, where she showcased her talent by finishing 3rd on vault, 4th on bars, 1st on beam, tying for 3rd on floor, and placing 2nd in the all-around in her division.
In 2022, she competed only once but completed her first full Level 10 season in 2023. At the state championships, she finished 4th on bars and in the all-around, qualifying for the Region 1 championships.
There, she had a standout performance, tying for 5th on floor, tying for 2nd in the all-around, finishing 2nd on beam, and tying for 1st on bars, ultimately qualifying for Level 10 nationals. At nationals, she achieved top 20 finishes with a 20th place on floor and 19th in the all-around.
In 2024, Valdenarro balanced elite and Level 10 competitions, though she did not qualify for any major elite events. At the state championships, she excelled by tying for 4th on floor, finishing 2nd on vault and in the all-around, and winning the bars title.
At regionals, she tied for 5th on floor, finished 3rd on vault and beam, tied for the all-around title, and again won the bars title outright. Unfortunately, a foot injury sidelined her from nationals.
Recognized by College Gym News as an underrated recruit in the 2026 class, Valdenarro has been praised for her exceptional skills on bars.
They noted her impressive execution in both elite and Level 10 competitions, mentioning her potential upgrades, including a Maloney uprise to Hindorff and a double layout dismount. Prior to committing to LSU, Valdenarro took visits to Auburn and Michigan, ultimately choosing to join the Tigers.
