Alabama football’s initial availability report for the Tennessee game is the most extensive of the season so far. It appears that some key players for the Crimson Tide could potentially return for their upcoming match in Knoxville.
At the wide receiver position, both Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law have been listed as probable.
Prentice is recovering from a head injury sustained during the Vanderbilt game, while Law is dealing with a “lower-leg injury” that he suffered against Georgia.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer expressed optimism about their status during the SEC coaches teleconference, noting, “Right now I would say they are probable. Just continue to work through practices. Feeling better and better about it each and every day.”
In addition, cornerback Domani Jackson is also listed as probable after leaving the game against South Carolina but managing to return for a pivotal interception.
Linebacker Yhonzae Pierre is marked as questionable due to his absence in the South Carolina game, while fellow linebacker Cayden Jones has been ruled out, having primarily contributed on special teams during his freshman year.
On the Tennessee side, three players, including linebackers Edwin Spillman and Keenan Pili, along with defensive back Jourdan Thomas, are listed as out.
Running back Cameron Seldon is considered questionable, while offensive lineman Lance Heard is expected to play, designated as probable. For the 2024 season, the SEC requires teams to provide daily availability reports starting on Wednesdays during conference game weeks, with final updates released 90 minutes before kickoff.
Alabama and Tennessee are set to face off at 2:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
