With Tyler Bass facing challenges this season, the Bills have decided to add another kicker to their roster.
On Thursday, the team announced the signing of Lucas Havrisik to their practice squad. The 25-year-old Havrisik was most recently with the Browns during the offseason and training camp.
Last year, he appeared in nine games for the Rams, where he successfully converted 15 of 20 field goal attempts and 19 of 22 extra points.
Bass’s performance has raised concerns, especially after he missed an extra point and a 47-yard field goal during Monday night’s victory over the Jets.
Head coach Sean McDermott expressed his worries about Bass’s struggles, indicating that the team is closely monitoring the situation.
Since joining the Bills in 2020, Bass has made 9 of 12 field goals and 18 of 20 extra points in the current season. To accommodate Havrisik, Buffalo has released receiver Ahmarean Brown from their practice squad.
