JUST-IN: Houston Texas Faces Setback As Another Top Player Goes On Injury Before Packers Game

The Houston Texans face a significant challenge as they travel north to take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 7.

With a strong record of 5-1, a victory could propel them to their best start since 2012. However, they need to be fully prepared to tackle the atmosphere at Lambeau Field this Sunday to maintain their momentum.

As the Texans gear up for the matchup, their injury report remains lengthy, showing no improvement from Wednesday to Thursday.

Joe Mixon was limited in practice again, indicating that his ankle injury is still a concern. While it’s positive that he’s able to participate at all, his absence would be felt since he rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns last week, playing a crucial role in the Texans’ offense.

Defensively, the Texans are also facing challenges, with five non-participants in practice this week, all affecting different levels of the defense.

This lack of depth could be particularly detrimental against a strong Packers offense, especially if the Texans’ defense is not at full strength come game time.

Facing the Packers will be a tough task, given their talent. The Texans have the opportunity to establish themselves as serious contenders if they can secure a win.

However, with the Packers favored by 2.5 points and star wide receiver Nico Collins out on Injured Reserve, the Texans’ chances may be hampered by their injury situation heading into the game.
