MAJOR-SETBACK: Defensive Lineman Confirm His Decision To Leave The South Carolina Football Program

Another South Carolina football player is entering the transfer portal. Defensive end Elijah Davis has confirmed his decision to leave the program, according to a school spokesperson. The news was first reported by 247Sports and On3. Davis becomes the 14th player this offseason to announce his departure from South Carolina.

Davis appeared in just one game this season after participating in six games last year, recording six tackles. He joined South Carolina in 2023 following two seasons at East Mississippi Community College, where he was ranked the No. 2 overall player on the 2023 ESPN JUCO 50 list. Davis previously played high school football at Wagener-Salley in South Carolina.
