Kansas State’s Legend, Inducted into Hall of Fame As Key Role

Jack Hartman, the all-time winningest men’s basketball coach at Kansas State, has been inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.

He is part of the latest class, which also includes seven players. Among them is Wayne Estes, a Utah State star who tragically lost his life in 1965 while attempting to assist at the scene of a car accident after his final game.

The class also features Dave Meyers, a key player in UCLA’s NCAA championship wins in 1973 and 1975; Sihugo Green from Duquesne, the top pick in the 1956 NBA Draft; and Lennie Rosenbluth, who led North Carolina to a perfect 32-0 season and the 1957 NCAA title.
