BREAKING: Missouri Tigers Land Game-Changing Talent for the Upcoming Season – Who Would That Be?

The Missouri Tigers football team has made a major move in recruiting by securing a commitment from four-star running back Marquise Davis. Originally committed to the University of Kentucky, Davis switched his allegiance to Missouri in December 2024, adding a dynamic weapon to their backfield for the upcoming season.

Davis, who hails from Cleveland, Ohio, stands 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. Ranked as the No. 7 running back in the 2025 class, his arrival in Columbia is expected to have a huge impact on the Tigers’ offensive strategies moving forward.

Along with Davis, Missouri has added a number of other highly-rated recruits, including four-star quarterback Matt Zollers from Royersford, Pennsylvania. Zollers, ranked the No. 9 quarterback in the nation, will compete for the starting role in the upcoming season.

In addition to Davis and Zollers, the Tigers have signed defensive end Javion Hilson, wide receiver Donovan Olugbode, and offensive tackle Jack Lange. Hilson, at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, will bolster the defensive line, while Olugbode, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound wide receiver from Florida, brings speed and playmaking ability. Lange, a 6-foot-6, 270-pound offensive lineman, will help strengthen Missouri’s offensive line.

These signings reflect Missouri’s dedication to building a strong and competitive team for the 2025 season and beyond. The addition of Davis in particular fills an important gap at running back, providing the Tigers with a top-tier playmaker capable of making an immediate impact. These recruits will be key to Missouri’s hopes for success in the Southeastern Conference in the coming years.
