CINCINNATI — The Bearcats football program will be losing Luke Mullett, the special assistant to the head coach. According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Mullett has accepted the role of general manager at East Carolina.
Mullett had played a significant role on Scott Satterfield’s staff at Cincinnati. He joined the team after a successful tenure at Louisville, where he worked as the Director of Football Technology since 2018. In this position, he oversaw the coaches’ video and digital technology for the Cardinals. Prior to his time at Louisville, Mullett had also worked with the Tennessee Volunteers.

Mullett’s departure marks the loss of an important figure on the Bearcats’ staff, with his experience and technical expertise contributing to the team’s operations. His move to East Carolina represents a new opportunity to expand his career in football management.
