Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, who spent the past four seasons with the New York Giants, is reportedly heading to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in free agency.
Jackson signed a three-year deal with the Giants in 2021 and later extended his stay for another season just before training camp. Last season, he appeared in 14 games, starting five of them.

Turning 30 in September, Jackson played in 51 games and started 41 for the Giants. In free agency, New York has added two 25-year-old starters to their secondary, cornerback Paulson Adebo and safety Jevon Holland, who are now the most experienced players in the Giants’ secondary.
With Jackson joining the Eagles, it’s likely to stir frustration among Giants fans. However, his departure had seemed inevitable this offseason.
Before his time with the Giants, Jackson was a first-round draft pick by the Tennessee Titans, where he spent four seasons. Over his 97 career regular season games, Jackson has recorded just four interceptions.
