The New York Giants have signed a veteran quarterback to their roster.

This player, drafted first overall in the 2015 NFL Draft, has made 105 appearances with 87 starts across stints with the Buccaneers (2015-2019), Saints (2020-2023), and Browns (2024). He has completed 1,944 passes out of 3,178 attempts (61.2 percent), totaling 24,225 yards, 154 touchdowns, and 111 interceptions. Additionally, he has rushed for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns during his career. In the postseason, he played in one game for the Saints, where he threw a 56-yard touchdown on his only pass attempt.

After five seasons with the Buccaneers, he holds the franchise’s all-time records for pass attempts, completions, passing yards, and touchdown passes.

In 2019, he became one of only nine players in NFL history to throw for 5,000 yards in a season, also making history as the first player to throw for at least 450 yards in back-to-back games.

Following his time in New Orleans, he played 12 games for the Cleveland Browns in 2024, starting seven of them. He averaged 291 yards per game, throwing for 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

The player earned a Pro Bowl selection in his rookie year of 2015 and had a standout college career at Florida State, where he posted a 27-1 record as a starter. He became the second freshman to win the Heisman Trophy and led the Seminoles to back-to-back undefeated regular seasons and a 2014 BCS National Championship.
