Missouri’s football team has bolstered its running back corps by securing a commitment from Louisiana-Monroe transfer Ahmad Hardy.

Hardy’s decision to transfer comes after a standout season, during which he forced 94 missed tackles, ranking second nationally behind Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty.

At 5-foot-10 and 205 pounds, Hardy’s playing style combines power running with breakaway speed, making him a valuable addition to Missouri’s backfield.

He joins a group that includes redshirt freshman Jamal Roberts and incoming freshmen Marquise Davis and Brenden Haygood.

The Tigers faced departures in their running back lineup, with seniors Nate Noel and Marcus Carroll exhausting their eligibility and freshman Kewan Lacy transferring to Ole Miss.

Hardy’s arrival addresses this gap, providing immediate experience and depth to the position.

Hardy’s commitment is Missouri’s sixth transfer portal addition this offseason, underscoring the coaching staff’s strategic approach to strengthening the team ahead of the upcoming season.
