Putnam North basketball standout Brandie Harrod revealed her commitment to Kansas State on Sunday.
A four-star recruit and the 59th-ranked player in the nation for the 2025 class, Harrod had initially signed with Auburn but reopened her recruitment on March 15, the same day she played a pivotal role in leading Putnam North to its first-ever girls basketball title. The Panthers secured a 65-48 victory over Mustang in the Class 6A championship game.
The 6-foot-1 left-handed player made her decision following the firing of Auburn’s head coach Johnnie Harris.
This past season, Harrod averaged 13.5 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and 2.5 assists per game.
Kansas State’s 2025 recruiting class is ranked No. 10 in the country by ESPN.
