The 6-foot-2, 195-pound dual-threat quarterback from Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, announced his commitment following a visit to Lexington, marking the first for Kentucky’s 2027 recruiting class.

Hunter’s decision was influenced by the relationship he developed with Kentucky’s coaching staff, particularly head coach Mark Stoops and offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan.
