The Notre Dame women’s basketball team continues to rebuild its roster, which has seen significant turnover, by adding another transfer on Wednesday.
Multiple sources report that Gisela Sanchez, previously with Kansas State, will be joining the Fighting Irish.
The 6-foot-4 forward from Barcelona, Spain, averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game last season as a junior for the Wildcats.
She will have one year of eligibility remaining at Notre Dame.
Sanchez becomes the second transfer portal addition for the Irish this offseason, following last Friday’s commitment from former Wake Forest forward Malaya Cowles.
