MAJOR BREAKING: Kansas State Signs Talented Forward From UNC Wilmington To Power Up Their Lineup For 2025.

The Kansas State Wildcats have added forward Khamari McGriff from UNC Wilmington to their roster, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. McGriff, who averaged 11.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for the Seahawks in the 2024-25 season, is known for his impressive shooting, hitting 65.1% of his shots from the floor.

McGriff was a key player for UNC Wilmington, helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament. In the tournament’s Round of 64, McGriff contributed 8 points and 3 rebounds in a loss to Texas Tech.

He also had a strong performance earlier in the season against Kansas, scoring 18 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.

This addition marks the second transfer portal move for Kansas State, joining Monmouth’s Abdi Bashir Jr. as new recruits. McGriff will be aiming to help K-State break a two-year NCAA Tournament drought, following a season where they missed the postseason.
