BREAKING NEWS: The Bills Hit With Fresh Injury As Star Player Leaves Training

The Bills added a significant update to their injury report on Thursday. Defensive tackle Ed Oliver was listed as a limited participant in practice due to a hamstring injury.

Since he wasn’t mentioned in Wednesday’s report, it appears that he sustained the injury during that day’s practice. More details regarding his status are expected to be released on Friday.

Additionally, the Bills have been practicing without Austin Johnson, who is dealing with an oblique injury, leaving them potentially short on the defensive line for their upcoming game against the Texans on Sunday. Safety Taylor Rapp, who is in concussion protocol, and wide receiver Khalil Shakir, who has an ankle issue, have also missed both practice sessions this week.

In a positive development, left tackle Dion Dawkins moved from not participating to limited practice due to his hamstring injury. Linebacker Terrel Bernard, who has a pectoral injury, and cornerback Taron Johnson, dealing with a forearm issue, were also limited participants for the second consecutive day.

As the team prepares for their matchup against the Texans, the health of these players will be crucial in determining the Bills’ defensive strategy and overall effectiveness on the field.
