MAJOR-BREAKING: Huge Addition As Four-Star Defensive Lineman Commits To South Carolina Football

Jaquavious “Quay” Dodd, a four-star defensive lineman from Eastside High School, officially signed with the South Carolina Gamecocks on Wednesday.

Standing at an impressive 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, Dodd was a dominant force on the field. In his senior season with the Eagles, he recorded 92 tackles, including 61 solo tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 20 quarterback hurries, and 11 sacks.

“I feel like I opened up more doors for myself and my family,” Dodd said, reflecting on his decision. He also expressed his excitement about joining the Gamecocks, noting his strong bond with head coach Shane Beamer, who he describes as feeling like a father figure to him.

Dodd is set to head to South Carolina this January to begin his college career in time for the spring season.
