The New York Giants are making changes to their front office this offseason — though not intentionally. Despite the team’s 3-14 finish to the 2024-25 season, team president and co-owner John Mara decided to keep general manager Joe Schoen. However, Schoen could lose another important member of his front office this offseason.
According to Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz, Las Vegas Raiders will conduct a second in-person interview with Giants assistant general manager Brandon Brown on Monday for their general manager position. This follows a previous virtual interview with the team.
Brown, who joined the Giants in 2022 after working with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2017 to 2021, has been recognized as a key contributor to the team’s “2022 roster renovation” that led to the franchise’s first playoff appearance since 2016.
Last offseason, Brown had a second interview for the Los Angeles Chargers’ general manager position but was passed over in favor of Joe Hortiz. As a rising star in the league, his second interview with the Raiders puts him in contention for the role.
This would mark the second significant loss to the Giants’ front office this offseason, following the departure of Ryan Cowden, who served as executive advisor to Schoen and recently joined the New England Patriots’ front office.
