In a major recruiting win for South Carolina football, the Gamecocks have secured the commitment of in-state wide receiver Jackson Repp from Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville. Repp, who is known for his remarkable speed, has chosen to join the Gamecocks’ program as a preferred walk-on, further solidifying South Carolina’s growing talent pool.
Standing at 5-foot-8 and weighing 160 pounds, Repp has impressed scouts with his exceptional athleticism, running a blazing 4.31-second 40-yard dash and a 10.7-second 100-meter sprint. His standout performance at a summer camp caught the eye of Gamecocks’ head coach Shane Beamer and receivers coach Mike Furrey, leading to an offer from South Carolina.
Although Repp faced a setback early in the season with a torn ACL, he remained a priority for the Gamecocks, and the program’s commitment to him never wavered. Repp made an official visit to the University of South Carolina in November 2024, accompanied by his family, and was impressed with the hospitality shown by the coaching staff. He shared that the visit met all his expectations.
