HUGE BOOST: Royals Add Most Experienced Outfielder In Shocking Trade With Rival

The Kansas City Royals confirmed on Saturday that they have made a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Royals will send either a player to be named later or cash in exchange for a new addition to their roster.

This acquisition adds a seasoned player to the Royals’ lineup. Details about the trade, including the identity of the player involved, were kept under wraps at this point in the announcement.

The player being acquired is Mark Canha, an outfielder who can also play first base. At 36 years old, Canha was previously signed by the Brewers on a minor league deal and had the option to opt out of his contract as of Saturday. He had a tough spring, with a .087 batting average (2-for-23) and just one home run.
