NEWS-NOW: New York Giants Secure Promising QB Before NFL Draft to Bolster Their Quarterback Position for 2025

The New York Giants have already signed Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson to strengthen their quarterback position for 2025. However, they remain connected to standout quarterback Shedeur Sanders from the Colorado Buffaloes.

While rumors about Sanders are intriguing, the Giants have other options for securing their future quarterback. Neither Wilson nor Winston is expected to be the long-term solution for New York. If the Giants want to stay ahead, drafting a quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft seems like a smart move.

A new prediction has emerged, suggesting the Giants won’t draft Sanders. In a recent mock draft by Reese Decker of Pro Football Network, the Giants passed on a quarterback at the No. 3 pick, instead selecting Travis Hunter.

In the second round, New York did take a quarterback, choosing Ole Miss standout Jaxson Dart with the No. 34 overall pick. Dart has been a fluctuating figure in mock drafts, with some predicting him in the top-10, while others have him sliding into the early second round.

During the 2024 college football season, Dart threw for 4,279 yards, 29 touchdowns, and six interceptions, completing 69.3% of his passes and adding 495 rushing yards with three touchdowns. Giants fans will see what the team decides when the draft takes place from April 24 to April 26.
