Cooper Flagg, the standout forward for the Duke Blue Devils, has announced his departure from the team to pursue professional basketball opportunities overseas.

Flagg’s decision comes after a remarkable freshman season, during which he led Duke to the ACC regular-season title and earned both ACC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors.

In his final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium, Flagg delivered an impressive performance, contributing 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in a victory over Wake Forest.

Despite speculation about his potential return, he expressed gratitude for his time at Duke, stating it had been “an amazing year.”
