The Notre Dame women’s basketball team continues to rebuild its roster, bringing in another player via the transfer portal on Wednesday.
Multiple sources report that Gisela Sanchez is transferring to South Bend from Kansas State.
The 6-foot-4 forward from Barcelona, Spain, posted averages of 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game last season as a junior with the Wildcats.
She’ll have one year of eligibility remaining at Notre Dame.
Sanchez is the second transfer addition for the Irish, following last Friday’s commitment from former Wake Forest forward Malaya Cowles.
