Breaking: Another Talented Gators Player Exit The Team Due To Season Ending Injury injury

Florida defensive lineman Jamari Lyons will be sidelined for the entire 2024 season due to a broken ankle, as announced by Gators coach Billy Napier on Monday.

Lyons sustained the injury during the team’s first fall camp scrimmage and was taken off the field with his leg in an air cast, according to a report by 247Sports.

“Jamari is one of our best players and truly cares about the team. It was an inspiring moment to some degree. The entire team gathered on the field to support him, which is something I’ve never seen in my coaching career,” Napier shared with reporters.

Napier added, “We had all 132 players there with him as he was carried off the field, which I think shows that these guys are building a strong connection.”
